Frank Clegg Leatherworks ("FCL", "we", "us", or "our") operates frankcleggleatherworks.pro (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It applies to information collected through the Site, by email, and through customer service channels.
By using the Site, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address when you place an order, create an account, or contact us
- Order history and product preferences
- Reviews, comments, survey responses, and other content you submit
- Communications with our customer service team
- Newsletter signup information
- Product registration details when you register your bag
Payment information: Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal via Braintree, and Affirm). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate geolocation derived from it
- Browser type and version, device type, operating system, and language preference
- Pages visited, links clicked, referring website, and dates and times of visits
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Processing and fulfilling orders, including shipping and delivery notifications
- Providing customer service and responding to inquiries
- Sending marketing emails and updates, if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email)
- Collecting and displaying product reviews
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents

3. Service Providers and Third Parties
We share personal information with service providers that help us operate our business. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only to provide services to us. They include:

- Customer support: Gorgias
- Product reviews: Yotpo
- Analytics: Google Analytics
- Advertising and social media: Meta (Facebook) Pixel
- Security, content delivery, and bot protection: Cloudflare (including Cloudflare Turnstile)
- Shipping carriers that deliver your orders

We may also disclose information when required to do so by law, to respond to legal process, to protect our rights and property, to investigate fraud or security issues, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising and analytics partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws; see Section 7 for how to opt out.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including order records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and login session working, remember your preferences, measure how the Site is used, and support advertising. Cookies fall into these categories:
- Essential: Required for the Site to function (cart, checkout, login). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics).
- Marketing: Used to measure and deliver relevant advertising (Meta Pixel, Klaviyo).
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or checking out. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our emails may contain a web beacon that tells us whether an email was opened, which helps us measure deliverability and engagement.

- Non-discrimination: Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights

California Notice at Collection: In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 for the purposes described in Section 2, and disclosed them to the service providers described in Section 3. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA beyond what is needed to process payments, and we do not use it for purposes requiring a right to limit. We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 16.
8. International Visitors (EEA, UK, and Other Regions)
We are based in the United States and process information on servers located in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), our legitimate interests (Site security, analytics, fraud prevention), your consent (marketing emails), and compliance with legal obligations. The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site contains links to third party websites and social media platforms. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing them any information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by a notice on the Site or by email where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
